The Story of Welborn Social Media started in June 2011 when we expanded our Social Media skills beyond Zeb’s company, The Tutoring Solution and began running Scrapbook Expo’s Twitter account. It has been a whirlwind ever since.
We have the greatest clients! Each of the companies we work with is full of hardworking people. They make our job of promoting their brand extremely rewarding.
Scrapbook Expo is the Premiere Scrapbook Show in the United States. They have 16 shows scheduled in cities across America every year. Since starting their Twitter Account in June, 2011 we have built a following of 3,537 people. To keep this in perspective, the largest ranking account on www.WeFollow.com for a scrapbooking company has just less than 10,000 followers. The owner, Jennifer Davis was so happy with our services, she personally introduced us to her entire list of vendors and informed them that we provide an exceptional service and encouraged them to use us to increase their Social Media presence.
Los Serranos Country Club is home to the longest golf course in Southern California. Originally opened in 1925, the golf course is also one of the oldest in the California. Tennis legend Jack Kramer purchased the golf course in 1961 and the Kramer family has been running it ever since. We began doing Social Media for Los Serranos in July. We update their blog, Facebook and Twitter accounts on a daily basis. As a result, Los Serranos has 3,246 Followers on Twitter, 1,010 people “Like” their page on Facebook and 1,747 people have visited their blog. When reaching the 1,000 mark for followers on the Los Serranos Facebook page, we received many comments on the amazing job we were doing with their Social Media campaign. In fact, Dave Huth wrote, “You guys do a great job with your social media marketing – much better than 99% of local SoCal courses. Kudos to your marketing peeps, Mr. Kramer would be proud!” The Kramer family has been extremely happy with the amount of success Welborn Social Media has had in reaching out to customers and told us they’ve seen a significant increase in revenue since we started their Social Media campaign.
WireSpeed Systems is a global business that buys and sells new and used networking equipment. We began working with WireSpeed Systems in August. They now have 3,054 Twitter followers, 1,324 “Likes” on Facebook and 174 connections on LinkedIn. We have also contacted more than 1,200 people via email. Earlier this month, WireSpeed Systems was chosen as Cisco’s SuperFan because of our continued efforts to make our customers aware of the products Cisco offers. Cisco, the top company in the computer networking business, mentioned our company by name and changed their Facebook image to include the WireSpeed Systems logo. Their messages were sent out to more than 225,000 people . . . the people most likely to do business with WireSpeed Systems.
System 1 is an Acoustic Ceiling Removal business located in Southern California. They have more than 30 years of experience removing acoustic (popcorn) ceilings. We began working with System 1 in October. We have had 253 people “Like” their Facebook page and their website has begun to show up much more frequently in organic search results on Google.
DLT Growers is a groundcover wholesale distributor in Southern California. We’ve been doing web design work for their website which goes live this Thursday, Dec. 1st. (Check it out at www.DLTgrowers.com)
We’ve done additional graphic design work for Creative Scrapbook Source. And, we’re currently developing designs for Big Time Golf.
Earlier this month we attended the 2011 Business Growth Expo in Tempe, AZ. We met so many enthusiastic business men and women from a variety of companies. Attending the Expo was a valuable experience for our company and we’re excited about building our relationships with the people we met earlier this month.
